Since 2003, the board-certified clinicians at Respacare have treated patients who struggle with Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) and other sleep-related issues in Bridgewater, New Jersey and beyond. We provide Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) therapy services to Somerset County residents from Bound Brook and Manville to Hillsborough Township and Warren Township, so our patients can breathe better and sleep more soundly through the night.
Our Bridgewater CPAP Clinic
Though we see patients exhibiting many different forms of sleep apnea, Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) is the most common. OSA occurs when your throat muscles relax and block your airways during sleep, causing you to stop breathing for seconds or even minutes at a time. Whether a patient experiences just a few sleep interruptions or as many as 100 over the course of an hour, this results in difficulty falling – and staying – asleep. Symptoms of OSA include trouble breathing, snoring, dry mouth and irritability and, if left untreated, OSA can lead to major health complications in the future, such as heart disease and stroke.
If you or someone you love is struggling with OSA, our premier CPAP clinic in Bridgewater, NJ is here to help. Our on-site Clinical Sleep Educator closely monitors and evaluates your case of sleep apnea to provide a personalized treatment plan to help you get a good night’s rest.
Treating Sleep Apnea
After undergoing a thorough sleep evaluation, our office will initiate the proper steps to supply you with a CPAP machine to help treat your case of sleep apnea. Included with the machine are a nasal pillow/mask, tubing and supplies. Our Sleep Educator will provide you with the proper education to ensure the highest compliance with use of your machine. The CPAP machine helps move air through the tube and into the pillows/mask that you wear to bed, providing constant airflow to ensure you breathe steadily through the night without the interruptions caused by sleep apnea.
